Balloons, bunnies and bouquets for Heidi Klum as she and Seal shop for Easter treats

Balloons, bunnies and bouquets for Heidi Klum as she and Seal shop for Easter treats

On Easter Sunday, most people would show up for lunch with a chocolaty treat for their host.

But not Heidi Klum, who clearly decided that a festive egg would simply not suffice.

The model was snapped shopping for treats and presents as she and her family made their way to an Easter party yesterday.

After a spot of brunch together, Heidi, 37, husband Seal, 48, and their four children, stopped off at a garden centre to pick up a gift for their host.

And they left with not one gift but two as Heidi carried out a pink wicker basket filled to the brim with chocolate eggs and sweets and bunny toys.

Seal was also on carrying duty as he clutched a lovely bouquet of pink roses intended for their host.

Along with their children Henry, five, Johan, four, six-year-old Leni and Lou, 18 months, they all piled into the blue family van as they left the Bristol Farms store in Los Angeles.

Earlier, the family had enjoyed an Easter Sunday brunch together at the Four Seasons hotel.

And it sounded as though the children were treated to a lovely Sunday after Heidi explained what else she had planned.

She said: 'I’ll be doing what a lot of other mums are doing – getting up really early, being the bunny and hiding a lot of treats.'

She also revealed that despite being one of the world's most famous models, she would like to get into acting, having been bitten by the bug recently.

The German-born catwalk queen recently loaned her voice to animated movie Hoodwinked Too! Hood VS Evil.

She said: 'I play Heidi, a yodeller who helps Little Red Riding Hood save her grandmother. I would love it if I could do more of these things!'
